Nieuw!

I dissolved the bags in a 1 liter measuring cup and put them in the keg. Supplemented to 19 liters. I used water which I first passed through a brita filter.
After filling, I set the keg to 32 psi because have only short time of testing. And outside in the cold at night it was around freezing. The colder the faster and more CO2 is absorbed. Daytime in the basement which is around 4-6 degrees now.
Brought the pressure down to 10 psi last night. .
Tasting the tonic pure and with lemon gin.
The taste is very full. The proportions of sour-bitter are fine, the sweetener may be a bit friendlier and a bit lower.
The temperature was measured when pouring it, which was at 6 degrees. Maybe because of something colder that the sweet is a bit more pleasant.
There is a delicious citrus in it.
It is excellent for the gin
If I have to compare this to a schweppes or royal club, I would really prefer this one if I would add something less sweet.
Thanks for the opurtunity to test this product. I enjoyed it!
Best regards,
Robbert

Dit vond ik van de mailtjes .
That’s brilliant thanks Jan. I’m glad Robbert enjoyed it.
Do you mind asking the following;
- Now he knows what it’s like, would he buy it? If so, what would he expect the price would be?
- Is 19l the right batch size for him? Or would he prefer it in smaller sizes – i.e. to fit a 3,5 or 10l mini keg or even a sodastream?
- Sounds like he’d prefer it a little less sweet – is he able to put a % to that? Does he think the full amount of sweetener could be provided with instructions to only use part of the sachet if he wanted it less sweet
Please thank him for his time for me.
Thanks
